Cleary Gottlieb advised Exponent Financial Services on its investment in Kingsbridge Healthcare Group, a private health care provider with operations in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The investment will enable KHG to scale its operations and advance its mission of providing world-class medical services in the region.
The Role of Asset Allocation in Portfolio Performance
The firm’s investment in KHG is the first in the Republic of Ireland and eighth platform investment in the country, underscoring the firm’s long-standing commitment to partnering with founder-owned, market-leading businesses. Exponent has a strong track record in the Irish economy, having made a number of investments here including H&MV Engineering, an expert in high voltage electrical engineering; Ethos Engineering, a leader in sustainable data-centre design; and Chanelle Pharma, a maker of veterinary and generic pharmaceuticals.
Last year, the firm bought the Ambassador Theatre Group, owner of London’s West End and Broadway venues, in addition to the Racing Post, formerly owned by FL Partners. It also bought into Xeinadin, an acquisitive professional services firm with extensive operations in the Republic of Ireland.
